Programs - Infants
Here at Little Tikes Academy we realize how anxious new parents can be when leaving their infants in care somebody else care. Our staff takes extra care to help make the transition back to work as easy as possible for your family. You will find a safe, secure and nurturing environment that leaves you with the peace of mind you need. Our infant teachers go to great lengths to make certain parents are informed daily about the high quality care that their child receives throughout the day.
Our program features two infant rooms located in the front of the building that are bathed in sunshine. In our youngest infant room, most of the children are not yet mobile. Our room is 
nurturing and experienced staff uses a wide range of equipment including exersaucers, baby gyms, activity mats and toys to keep the babies’ minds and bodies active and alert. Most of all we provide a lot of time for holding, loving and hugging! When it is sleepy time, soft music is played to relax our babies and ease them off into dreamland.
In our older infant room, the infants are crawling, pulling up or learning to walk. To encourage a baby’s developing mobility, the babies play in the “pre-toddler garden” which is designed to help your child develop their muscles and coordination. They also love the toy ring located in the center of the room, which contains assorted small toys that encourage your babies’ exploration, which helps promote mental and cognitive development. Babies also enjoy gazing at their reflection in the safety mirror mounted on the wall.
Our highly trained and qualified staff members have all had criminal background checks. They also are required to attend age-appropriate training that is ongoing and updated on a regular basis. Our infant room teachers are all First Aid and CPR trained.
Little Tikes Academy extensive amenities include baby food, baby wipes and milk or juice for your little one. Parents provide diapers, prepared formula, a change of clothes and anything else to help comfort your child while they are here at Little Tikes.
