Programs - After School
“Adventure Quest” is our after school program at Little Tikes Academy for children ages 5 to 14 years old. Our after school program offers various activities to keep the children creative and motivated. It also helps the children make friendships and build self-esteem. School-agers are a very special group of children. At Little Tikes Academy we realize that the physical, emotional and educational needs of 5 year olds vary enormously from those of 5th graders. We place great importance on separating our school-age children by grade level.
When the children arrive at Adventure Quest in the afternoons, they have the option to go to the homework room. In this room, there is a certified teacher that is there to answer questions and assist with homework. Once they are done with their homework they rejoin the others for various activities.
The children participate in a weekly cooking project and art project that follows a weekly theme. We also have a computer lab and a game room that is equipped with a dance machine, arcade games and board games. When it is time to go outside the school-ager have an enormous playground to run and play. We have basketball goals, soccer goals, a climbing wall and picnic tables if they just want to relax and talk with friends.
During the summer our onsite pool opens and the children get the opportunity to swim 3 days a week.
Little Tikes offers before and after school programs and summer camp program. We transport to Chattahoochee, Mason, B.B. Harris, Berkley Lake, Notre Dame Academy and Parsons Elementary.
